There are several ways you can help support bereaved loved ones, many of them free of charge. You can certainly make a donation or start a fundraising campaign.

CONSIDER SHOPPING THROUGH AMAZONSMILE

Shopping at AmazonSmile is an easy way to support Balanced Wheel without spending any extra money.

AmazonSmile: how does it work and why should you use it?

AmazonSmile is essentially the same as Amazon, with the same products, prices, features, and shopping experience. The difference is that Amazon donates to your selected charity every time you shop through AmazonSmile.

Buying through AmazonSmile increases Balanced Wheel’s donations without adding additional costs to your purchase. Your purchases could raise funds to help Balanced Wheel support the bereaved in balancing life after loss.

How much money is donated by AmazonSmile?

If you shop on AmazonSmile, Amazon will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) of eligible products to the charity of your choice. There is no extra cost to you, or to your chosen charity, when you shop with AmazonSmile.

How do I get and set up AmazonSmile?

If you already have an Amazon account, you are just a few steps away from enabling your purchases to support Balanced Wheel.

1. Start by visiting smile.amazon.co.uk.
2. Login to your regular Amazon account.
3. Type Balanced Wheel in the ‘Pick your own charity’ search bar
4. Select Balanced Wheel as your chosen charity.
5. You’ll receive an email from Amazon confirming your selection which means you are all set and ready to shop.
6. Shop as you normally would, knowing that your purchase is making a difference and let your purchases support Balanced Wheel. Just remember to make sure you are using smile.amazon.co.uk.

How do I turn on AmazonSmile in the mobile app?

Get the app

Download or update to the latest version of the Amazon Shopping app on your phone. You can find it in the App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android.

Join AmazonSmile

Simply sign up by selecting Balanced Wheel as your chosen charity

Turn on AmazonSmile.

Open the app and find ‘Settings’ in the main menu (☰). Tap on ‘AmazonSmile’ and follow the on-screen instructions to turn on AmazonSmile on your phone.

DONATE THROUGH PAYROLL GIVING

You can support us by using payroll giving, which is also known as Workplace Giving, Give As You Earn, and Give Through Work.

The process is very simple and tax-effective. You are also tax-exempt for these donations since you give through your salary.
